Want to Improve your student's English grade?

At Admission Ignition, we believe that confidence in your writing abilities can make all the difference in both school and life! There’s no one RIGHT way to WRITE, but there’s always room to improve. While we are proud to help students with their application essays, we also love offering writing and reading comprehension support to students year-round!

Let our unique skillsets help your child shine in their English and History classes.

Did you know our Brooklyn-based Writing Coach,
Becca Webb, has a degree in American Literature? Her senior thesis compared three texts: a slave narrative, a novella from the Harlem Renaissance, and Toni Morrison's novel Sula. She then pursued a master's focusing on Edgar Allan Poe's writings. Becca has experience studying Hawthorne and Melville; transcendental authors like Emerson and Thoreau (did you know his mom brought him cookies at Waldon Pond?); poets like Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman; Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Kate Chopin, among others.

These topics are relevant to Miami schools' curriculums.
Ransom Everglades sophomores are taking American Literary Movements, while Gulliver Prep students take American Literature – not to mention college requirements for English credits. Outside of this, schools nationwide integrate American Literature into 10th, 11th, and 12th grade curriculums.

Looking to help your student master the material and thrive in the future? –
Becca is available for Zoom sessions!
